Sinergy Crew are children of the boom bap era and have summoned the forgotten beast and pushed a breath of fresh air into it. 4 years after their well received ‘Chaos Theory’ mixtape the duo dropped their debut LP, ‘Sin City’, in July 2009 on their independent label GRHYME PRODUCTIONS and smacked audiences in the face with a series of amped live shows. Let's just say you won't be waving your lighter in the air.
Chains One and Royalz lace the album with hard hitting, thought provoking lyrics delivered with a metaphorical edge over neck snapping, pulse pounding in-house production from Royalz himself. Engaged with their roots, political standpoints and the day to day grind of young artists sitting atop of a barrage of straight up punch lines the debut was the laying of a forged foundation. Collaborations on the release include Hungry Humans mainstay Raven, ex-Phonic Division member Turps, D.B.O crew, and Grhyme Productions new brainchild Associated Illness.
While during 2010 the two co-owners of Grhyme will push stablemates Broken Aesthetiks debut release, and work on the Associated Illness side project, they are still carefully plotting a return to the studio and stage for a sophomore album that aims to expand on the horizons of Sin City.
